Fingerprint Notice

Arizona Revised Statute 15-534 requires that "A person who is certified...shall maintain a valid fingerprint clearance card during the valid period of the person's certificate..." Fingerprint Clearance Cards are only valid for six years. We cannot permit certified employees who allow their card to lapse into the classroom, which affects pay.

It can take 10 weeks or more to renew your card, so it is extremely important to take care of your renewal well in advance of the expiration date. District employees can renew their fingerprint clearance card online at Fingerprint Clearance Card | Department of Public Safety (azdps.gov). Please have your fingerprint clearance card number and credit card information available when you apply online.

If you have questions, please contact Shirlandra Dugi by phone at (928) 697-2027 to make an appointment.

KUSD will only roll fingerprints for current District employees.
