Job Qualifications

Art Teacher (Baker Middle School)
Valid Arizona State Teaching Certificate for the elementary, middle, or secondary level.
Valid Arizona State Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
Bachelor's Degree in elementary, middle, or secondary education.
Fifteen (15) hours of State approved Structured English Immersion (SEI) coursework.
Successful middle school student teaching experience preferred.
Must meet Arizona Department of Education appropriately certified requirements.
Must have Art as an approved area.
Structured English Immersion (SEI) or English as a Second Language endorsement.
Biology Teacher
Valid Arizona State Secondary Teaching Certificate for the secondary level.
Valid Arizona State Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Degree(s) required and area of major study and/or 24 content hours.
Must have Biology as an approved area.
Structured English Immersion (SEI) or English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement preferred.
Elementary Teacher
Valid Arizona State Teaching Certificate for the elementary (K-8) level.
Valid Arizona State Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.
Fifteen (15) hours of State approved Structured English Immersion (SEI) coursework.
Successful student teaching experience at the elementary school level.
Structured English Immersion (SEI) or English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement preferred.
Director of Operations
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Facility Management, Engineering or Construction Management.
Master’s Degree preferred.
Valid Arizona State Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
Knowledgeable of OSHA, AHERA, DPS, NNEPA regulations and building codes.
Must have thorough understanding of computer programs related to construction, custodial, and maintenance department.
Five (5) years of successful experience in a managerial capacity over custodial, maintenance and grounds operations preferred.
Must have knowledge of procurement and purchasing and successful experience in effectively managing a budget.
Previous successful leadership experience and continued ability to work with pupils, staff, parents, vendors, contractors, and the general public.
English Language Arts Teacher
Valid Arizona State Secondary Teaching Certificate for the secondary level.
Valid Arizona State Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Degree(s) required and area of major study and/or 24 content hours.
Must have English Language Arts as an approved area.
Structured English Immersion (SEI) or English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement preferred.
Guidance Counselor
A valid Arizona State Guidance Counselor Certificate.
Master’s Degree in Guidance Counseling.
Bilingual English and Navajo speaker preferred.
Valid Arizona State Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
Two years of successful experience working with Elementary School aged children and parents.
Counseling experience required.
Must be computer literate.
Fifteen (15) hours of State approved Structured English Immersion (SEI) coursework.
Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
In-person Occupational Therapist
Arizona State License for Occupational Therapists.
Valid Arizona State Driver’s License.
Valid Arizona State Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
Successful work experience in an educational setting with students with physical disabilities required.
Ability to communicate effectively with instructional staff, paraprofessionals, professionals outside of school/community, and parents.
In-person Speech Language Pathologist
Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology.
Valid Speech Language Pathologist Certificate issued by Arizona Department of Education.
Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid Arizona State Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
Experience as a practicing Speech Language Pathologist.
Bilingual English/Navajo preferred.
Principal
Valid Arizona State Administrative Certificate.
Master’s degree in education.
Valid Arizona State Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
Five years of successful teaching experience, middle school level required.
Fifteen (15) hours of State approved Structured English Immersion (SEI) coursework.

Special Education Teacher

Must hold Arizona Special Education credentials.
An Autism specialist or certified.
Fifteen (15) clock hours of Arizona State approved Structured English Immersion (SEI) coursework.
