🤖 Congratulations to Baker Middle School Coltz n Boltz #26009 Robotics Team!

We proudly congratulate and recognize the Baker Middle School Coltz n Boltz #26009 Robotics Team for winning the FTC Control Award at the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Four Corners Championship, held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the NASH Center in Kayenta, Arizona.

The FTC Control Award is presented to the team demonstrating the most advanced and effective use of sensors, software, automation, and programming strategy. Judges commended the Coltz n Boltz team for their sophisticated control systems, reliable autonomous routines, seamless driver-assist functions, and innovative approach to coding that enhanced consistency and precision on the competition field.

In addition to their programming achievement, the team also earned the title of Alliance Finalist Winner, showcasing strong competitiveness throughout the elimination rounds. Their robot performed with consistency, strategy, and resilience—delivering well-executed autonomous runs, efficient tele-op cycles, and a coordinated alliance strategy that helped them reach the final match.

Finishing as Alliance Finalists reflects not only the robot’s technical capability but also the team’s collaboration, communication, and ability to adapt under pressure.

Together, these accomplishments highlight a team that excels both technically and strategically. Winning the FTC Control Award while also competing at the highest level of match play demonstrates their mastery of robotics, teamwork, and the core values of FIRST. These achievements place the Coltz n Boltz team among the top performers and solidify their role as leaders and innovators within the robotics community.
