Red Ribbon Spirit Week: October 23–30, 2026

DBES is excited to celebrate Red Ribbon Spirit Week, October 23–30, 2026! This year’s theme is “Make a Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free!” We invite all of our Broncos to join the fun as we encourage students to make healthy choices, show kindness, and say NO to drugs!
Each day will have a special dress-up theme:

Friday, Oct. 23 – Be Kind. Be You. Be a Bronco Hero.
Wear your Bronco red and white button-up shirt.

Monday, Oct. 26 – Green Means Go. Go Make Good Choices. Say No to Drugs.
Wear green.

Tuesday, Oct. 27 – We Love Our Local Heroes.
Wear brown, yellow, white, and/or blue to thank our local heroes.

Wednesday, Oct. 28 – Superheroes Say No to Drugs.
Wear your favorite superhero shirt.

Thursday, Oct. 29 – Too Bright for Drugs.
Wear sunglasses and/or neon attire.

Friday, Oct. 30 – Broncos Say “BOO” to Drugs!
Wear your Halloween costume.
To help keep our celebration safe, fun, and school appropriate, please follow these costume guidelines:
No weapon-like accessories or props will be permitted, including toy guns, swords, knives, or similar items. Face paint is also not permitted. Students may wear a costume mask; however, masks
may not be worn over or used to cover the face during the school day.
We can’t wait to see our Broncos’ creativity and celebrate a fun and safe Halloween together! Broncos say “BOO” to drugs! 🎃🐴
We encourage families to talk with their children about making safe, healthy, and positive choices. Let’s fill DBES with Bronco spirit and show that our Broncos have the power to make a difference! 🐴❤️
