It will be a full day of school. The Kayenta Police Department will be presenting on the dangers and risks of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine in Room 306 today (5/20) from 9AM to 11:30AM. All students are welcome to attend and learn about a dangerous substance on the arise in the Navajo Nation. Student Happenings All underclassmen will be taking their MATH BENCHMARK 4 starting today and finishing up hopefully by Wednesday. This test is important data for the math department - please do not check your child out before their math class. Allow them to complete the test. They will be using their Chromebook. They are allowed to use their notes, a calculator and textbook. No phones are allowed. Thank you for supporting your child and the math department. Students: begin cleaning out your lockers. SENIORS - Balfour will be here on April 17 at 11:30 am - 2:00 pm at MVHS - Room 306 to pass out caps and gowns for the graduation ceremony. This will be a great opportunity for seniors that have not ordered. Graduation is around the corner. MVHS Summer Office Hours Update

MVHS Summer Notice: Monument Valley High School will be closed from June 28 - July 12. If you need an enrollment packet, please stop by the KUSD Administration Building. Office Staff will return on July 15. Thank you and have a great summer!

MVHS Summer Hours Update: Greetings! Monument Valley High School Front Office is open Monday - Friday, June 3rd - 28th, from 7:30AM - 4:30PM. Enrollment packets are available to pick up and drop off. We are excited to welcome you back for School Year 2024-2025!

Good afternoon! Friendly reminders for Seniors: Friday, 5/10 - All senior grades are due. Monday, 5/13 - Seniors will get their check out forms. Seniors will report to their classes each period & will check out with their teachers during class. Seniors will check out with the library/nurse/etc. before school, lunch, after school - not during class Tuesday, 5/14 - Seniors will continue checkouts. Seniors will turn in check-out forms to their counselor before leaving. Wednesday, 5/15 & Thursday, 5/16 - Graduation Practice Seniors will report to the Nash Gym for graduation practice. They will not be in the building, only the gym, except for lunch. Seniors are invited to the awards ceremony, if they choose to come. Friday, 5/17 - Seniors will be off. DO NOT ride buses to school. No school/No graduation practice. They will be with families at home getting ready for graduation. Saturday, 5/18 - MVHS Graduation - all teachers and staff are invited. Congratulations to all our graduates!
