About Internship

Apply with Navajo Native American Research Center for Health (NARCH) to intern with a local research organization or public health program to assist in improving the health and well-being of the community.
Internships will be offered in-person or virtually depending on internship sites
  • Get an idea of how public health & research is being conducted!
  • Gain research experience in your community!
  • Be exposed to public health or health profession paths!
  • Learn how you can help your community!


Requirements

  • Junior or Senior in high school, 4 hours/week time commitment
  • Application form
  • Parental/Guardian acknowledgment form

Fall 2022 semester , Sept.- Dec.

  • Bidii Baby Foods, LLC Navajo Epidemiology Center 
  •  Navajo Department of Health
  •  Navajo Maternal and Child Health 
  •  Southwest Health Equity Research Collaborative, NAU 
  •  Johns Hopkins University (Center for American Indian Health)
