The Cognia Navajo Nation office will award (3) Dr. Kenneth F. Gose Scholarships to high school seniors who are pursuing full time study at an accredited two or four year college or university. This one time scholarships will be in the amount of $1,600.00, to be applied towards school expenses ( e.g. tuition, books, and/ or housing) at a two or four year institution of higher learning.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a senior who is enrolled in a Cognia Navajo Nation accredited high school
- Must have a 2.5 minimum GPA
- Must demonstrate a proven record of academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community service, scholastic honors, and awards throughout high school
Selected recipient must submit a copy of their acceptance letter from a college or university indicating acceptance as a full time student by September 2022. Recipient must provide proof of enrollment before payment will be issued (college course schedule and student I.D card can be used as proof of enrollment).
DEADLINE: Scholarship applications must be submitted email or postmarked by 5:00 PM on Friday, June 17, 2022.
