You now have the option to pay for your child's lunch online! It's fast and easy. Just click on the button below to visit the MySchoolBucks website.

Please note that online payments have a $1.95 service fee. This is a one-time charge each time you make a payment no matter how many student accounts you have or how much you deposit in the transaction.

We offer free or reduced-price lunches to eligible students. Feel free to pick up an application in the district or school office or download one here. Just take it into your school's office.

Lunch Charge Policy

Join us for breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. We know that students who begin the day with a healthy breakfast and continue to make nutritious food choices throughout the day will perform better in school and be better prepared for successful futures. That’s why our Food Services Department strives to ensure hearty and healthy meals for our students each school day. Please click on one of the links in the sidebar to view our menus.

We may permit students who do not have cash to pay for their meals to charge up to ten dollars ($10). We will not allow students who exceed a meal balance of ten dollars ($10) to charge additional meals. Instead, we will offer them an alternate meal consisting of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a carton of milk.
Please clear all guests through the food service supervisor to be eligible to eat in the cafeteria. The host must pay the full price of the meal.
Parents of all children enrolled in KUSD schools for the school year must complete an application with the Food Services Department to determine if their child is eligible for free or reduced meals or will need to pay the full price for school meals.
KPS has a Health program that encourages healthy eating. We encourage all of our students to eat what we serve. Please do not send with, or bring to, your child the following items:
- Fast food
- Candy (hard candy, suckers, etc.)
- Gum
- Soda pop
- Gatorade/ other sports drinks
- Sunflower seeds/pinion nuts
- Candy sprays and powdered Kool-Aid

There are various ways we could tell you about our food service department. We could cite our high participation rate for both breakfast and lunch. We could describe in detail the many ways our meals meet the RDA’s and other nutritional guidelines. We could provide testimonials from students, parents, and staff as to the quality and variety of foods offered in our program. However, we believe in the adage “A picture is worth a thousand words." We only wish a picture could also depict the wonderful smells of spices, the crisp crunch of a fresh vegetable, or the comfort of a meal prepared with care by the cafeteria.
